Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions section. Here you will find answers to the most common questions we receive, designed to help you solve your doubts quickly and efficiently.
What is the power and range of the Panot Bike?
In the European Union, electric bikes can have a maximum power of 250 watts, and ours does, so you can reach a speed of up to 25 km/h. Thanks to its central motor and its 55 Nm torque you will have enough power to overcome any slope, even with load, as well as the best acceleration possible, so you can move safely and comfortably around the city. On the other hand, the Panot Bike has a range of 75 km, so you don't have to worry about charging the battery every day.
Can I take a child seat on the Panot Bike?
Yes, and you'll be able to carry it securely attached. Our seats are mounted on the bike frame, which prevents your child from flying off in every bump, making every ride safer. With your Panot Bike you have a load capacity of up to 150 kg.
Can the Panot Bike sleep in the street?
Of course! In fact, this is the main advantage of having a subscription bike: it is designed to sleep on the street. The Panot Bike has an anti-theft system (double lock, GPS, etc.), designed for you to sleep peacefully every night and to complicate the work of those who want a bike without paying. In addition, all our electric bikes include theft insurance, so if it gets stolen, we'll give you another one.
What happens if my bike breaks down?
Gotcha covered. All Panot subscriptions include 24h assistance throughout the national territory and anti-theft insurance with the RACC, insurance company. If you suffer a breakdown, just call 900 242 242 or contact through the RACC app (you can download it here) and they will solve your incident, giving you the necessary support.
What happens if my bike gets stolen?
Our bikes have an anti-theft system consisting of a double lock and GPS, which makes it very difficult for possible theft. It's easier for thieves to take other, less secure bikes than taking yours. In addition, all our subscription plans include the comfort insurance, which covers 90% of the cost of the bike in case of theft, so that if your bike is stolen you would only pay the remaining part (as long as the bike was properly locked at the time of the theft). If you are interested in covering 100% of the cost of the bike in case of theft, then we recommend that you choose our full coverage option instead of the comfort insurance at the time of subscription, so that you will also be covered for the cost of the accessories in case of theft.
And of course, if necessary, we will help you report the theft to the police and replace your Panot.
What happens if I want to cancel my subscription?
Remember that each plan has a duration: the monthly plan is 1 month, the quarterly plan is 3 months and the annual plan is 12 months.
If you want to cancel your subscription before the minimum period expires in each case, you can do so but you must pay in store at the time of returning the bike the difference between the amount of the fee corresponding to the monthly plan and the amount of the subscription fee corresponding to the quarterly plan or the annual plan (the one that had been chosen by you when contracting), for the months of stay that have not elapsed.
Can I carry a child with me on the Panot Bike?
Yes, you can carry a child on the rear rack, where a child seat can be securely attached. Panot bikes are well suited for transporting children thanks to their power and stability. Just keep in mind that your Panot Bike has a load capacity of up to 150 kg.
Can I carry 2 children at the same time on the Panot Bus?
Yes, you can transport up to 2 children (Panot are approved for this) or one adult, or any kind of load up to 250 kg. Moreover, you will do it in the safest way.
